Roofing SEO services
Zentora Digital Marketing is a roofing marketing agency in Dallas that does SEO for roofing companies: pages for the services and towns homeowners search, rewrites of pages Google already shows near page one, technical fixes, and local links. Basic SEO comes with the Growth plan at $1,500 a month and full SEO and AEO with the Scale plan at $4,000 a month. Both are month to month and both run Local Services Ads alongside. The website and every page we write stay yours.
SEO is the slow channel. Google says some changes take effect in a few hours and others take several months, so the ads carry the calls while the pages build up.

What runs every month
$1,500 or $4,000 a month
Growth includes basic SEO. Scale adds full SEO and AEO, backlinking and the guarantee.
- Basic SEO, on Growth Work on the pages your site already has: titles and descriptions written for the searches you want, headings, internal links and schema, checked against what Search Console shows.
- Website upkeep, on Growth Updates, broken links, redirects, the sitemap and Google's index coverage, and small edits when you ask.
- New pages, on Scale Service pages, city pages and cost guides that give a real price range, each written for a search homeowners in your area make.
- Rewrites, on Scale Pages that Search Console shows close to page one get rewritten first, because a page that already ranks can move with one rewrite.
- A technical sweep, on Scale Crawl errors, broken links, redirects, index coverage, the sitemap and Core Web Vitals, checked every month.
- Keyword and competitor research, on Scale Every quarter we look at the searches your competitors win and you don't, and that sets the next quarter's pages.
- Local links, on Scale Links from local sources such as a chamber of commerce or a sponsorship. Google counts links from other websites toward how well known a business is.
- AEO, on Scale Answer engine optimization: pages that open with a plain answer to the question behind the search, schema that matches what visitors see, and a press release every month, so AI tools have clear passages to quote.
SEO starts on Growth at $1,500 a month
Across 439 SEO providers that Ahrefs polled, local SEO averaged $1,557 a month, and $1,819 at agencies. Both of our plans with SEO include Local Services Ads in the same price.
| Plan | Price | What it does for SEO |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $500 a month | No work on the website. Profile work only: weekly posts, review replies, citations and a press release every other month. |
| Growth | $1,500 a month | Basic SEO on the pages you have and website upkeep, plus Local Services Ads, lead tracking and speed to lead. |
| Scale | $4,000 a month | Full SEO and AEO: new pages, rewrites, a monthly technical sweep, quarterly research, local links and a press release every month, plus the 20-inspection guarantee. |
| Website build | $1,000 one time | For a site that needs rebuilding before SEO can do much with it. Waived if your site has already been rebuilt. |
Ad budget on top, billed by Google to your card and never marked up. Every plan is month to month, and the website, the domain and every page we write stay yours if you leave.

Google gives no timeline, so we judge SEO in Search Console
- Month 1
We read your Search Console, check that your Google profile's primary category is Roofing contractor, and list the searches that should bring you inspections: a roofing service plus one of your towns.
- First weeks
Google's guide suggests waiting a few weeks before judging a change. Fixes to titles and existing pages can show in hours, or take months.
- Months 1 to 3, on Scale
New pages go up every month while the ads carry the calls. Ahrefs found only 1.74% of newly seen pages reached Google's top 10 within a year, so most pages take time. Fin Home's longest cost guides, with price tables, ranked between 4th and 8th within their first month.
- Every month
We report clicks from searches that name a roofing service and one of your towns, straight from Search Console, next to the calls your pages brought in.
- Every quarter, on Scale
Keyword and competitor research sets the next quarter's pages.
- Day 90, on Scale
We count the exclusive roof replacement and storm inspection requests from your ads, profile and site. Short of 20, we keep working for free until you have them.
We write a town page only where people search for the work
A town page competes in the regular results under the map, and the map still goes by how far you are from the person searching. A page about the next town can rank there while your Google profile doesn't.
A template with the town name swapped fits Google's spam policy on scaled content. One marketing company that sells to spray-foam contractors had 634 city pages built from one template, and none of the 29 searches its site ranked for came from a city page. Each town page we write carries something specific to that town, such as the jobs you did there.
Some SEO pitches break Google's own rules
Google says it never accepts money to rank a site, and its spam policies name the shortcuts roofers still hear on sales calls. We don't sell any of them.
- Bought links. Google counts buying or selling links for ranking as link spam.
- Pages by the hundred. City pages that only funnel visitors to one page count as doorway abuse, and bulk AI-written pages as scaled content abuse.
- Keywords in your business name. Google's Business Profile rules say extra words in the name could get the profile suspended.
- Guaranteed first place. When an SEO guarantees first place, Google says to find someone else. Our Scale guarantee is on roof replacement inspections.
Search Console lets you check any SEO report against Google's own numbers
Search Console is Google's free report on your clicks, impressions and average position. Average position can mislead: on one Plano roofer's site, someone's rank-tracking bot searched "construction company plano tx" every Wednesday and added about 500 first-place impressions, close to half the total by mid-September.
So we report two numbers first: clicks from searches that name a roofing service and one of your towns, and the inspections booked by people who found you on Google.
A Dallas builder went from about 40 Google clicks a month to 833
Fin Home Custom Contracting, a remodeler and custom home builder in Dallas–Fort Worth, was close to invisible on Google when we started. Its clicks from Google search went from about 40 a month in late 2025 to 833 in August 2026, with no ad spend, and about 87% of them land on its cost guides and blog posts.
Over six months the site drew 618,000 impressions and 1,510 clicks, and in 2026 homeowners used its forms to ask about projects worth more than $3 million. The same method built this site's library of 143 guides for roofing owners.

Frequently asked questions
How much does roofing SEO cost?
With Zentora, basic SEO is part of Growth at $1,500 a month and full SEO and AEO is part of Scale at $4,000 a month, both month to month and both with Local Services Ads included. Across 439 providers Ahrefs polled, local SEO on its own averaged $1,557 a month.
How long does roofing SEO take to work?
Google's own guide says some changes take effect within hours and others take several months, and it suggests waiting a few weeks before judging one. New pages usually need longer, which is why both plans with SEO also run Local Services Ads.
What is the difference between basic SEO and full SEO?
Basic SEO on Growth works on the pages your site already has. Full SEO on Scale adds new pages every month, rewrites of pages close to page one, a monthly technical sweep, quarterly keyword and competitor research, and local links.
Do you build a page for every city I serve?
Only for towns where people search for the work. A city page that only swaps the town name rarely ranks and fits Google's spam policy, so each one we write has something specific to that town.
Who owns the pages you write?
You do. The website, the domain and everything on the site stay yours if you leave.
Can you guarantee first place on Google?
No. Google says it never accepts money to rank a site, and it warns against any SEO who guarantees first place. Our Scale guarantee is on roof replacement inspections.
Do you have a roofing SEO case study?
Not on this site yet. We work with roofing companies in Dallas–Fort Worth, and their numbers go public only when they agree to it. Until then, the free Google Maps heatmap shows you the map we would start from on your own company.
Can I buy SEO without the ads?
SEO comes in the Growth and Scale plans, both of which run Local Services Ads. If you want to talk through a different mix, book a call and we will look at your market together.
